• The Dragon fund recognises that riders outside of British Cycling programs, and those leaving at ODP and Academy level, can contribute and achieve Commonwealth success.
• Emphasis on team events will take priority over individual riders, in the initial phase of the fund.
• Riders need to actively promote the fund in order to benefit from it, both before they hope to receive assistance, during, and after.
• Riders must demonstrate a commitment to continually improve their ability and performance.
